About Eager Learners
Eager Learners has had extensive experience working with young people and their parents. We are passionate about instilling a love for learning in the lives of young ones through their natural eagerness to support their development, growth, and creativity. Eager Learners has partnered with different schools to deliver curriculum and programs that have seen much participation amongst young children. It views the education of the young using creative teaching methods as vital to their growth, encouraging active participation.
OUR CURRICULUM & PLAYGROUP PROGRAMMES
LEARNING THROUGH PURPOSEFUL PLAY
Our core curriculum is thematically planned with new themes introduced every term, focusing on “Learning through Purposeful Play.” The curriculum is creatively designed and encompasses the theory of multiple intelligences to support teaching and children’s development, growth, and creativity. It is centred around six learning areas introduced throughout the Eager Learners’ Playgroup program.
Our Eager Learners are provided with opportunities to develop essential knowledge, skills, and dispositions in social and emotional learning, discovery of the world, language and literacy, numeracy, aesthetic and creative expression, and motor skills development.
OUR PLAYGROUP PROGRAMS:
RISING STARS: Session 1
PRE-NURSERY - 3 YEARS OLD
Our Rising Stars program is built upon an integrated thematic curriculum combining learner-centred and adult-led approaches. Our focus is on promoting child development in all areas, including physical, cognitive, language, emotional, and social, through purposeful play. Our curriculum is creatively designed to encompass the theory of multiple intelligences and is aimed at grooming and nurturing young minds at their own pace with unique learning styles and varied abilities that help them cultivate independence, build confidence, and develop a positive attitude toward learning.
SHINING STARS: Session 2
PLAYGROUP - 18 MONTHS TO 2 YEARS OLD
Our Shining Stars program emphasises child-initiated learning, encouraging them to explore and make discoveries through their five senses to spark natural curiosity about the things and people around them and experience the joy of playing and learning. We provide many opportunities for our shining stars to engage in play situations and with developmentally appropriate materials that match their abilities to support their development, growth, and creativity. Each child can be inspired to learn, grow, and excel in different ways and at different paces.

OUR Mission
Collaborate with parents and the community to nurture and uphold a sense of community, known as the 'Kampong spirit'. This will involve recognizing and catering to the unique abilities, talents, and interests of each child, which will help to promote mutual respect and understanding among educators, parents, and caregivers.

Our Teacher's
Our Teachers are selected based on stringent criteria. They must possess a Certificate In Early Childhood Education with relevant experience working with children.
